Welcome to our latest project BAYADA Home Health Care Headquarters. For the next seven months we will be sharing our progress with you. The building is a three story Victorian located on Moorestown’s Main Street. It is the former home of John Buzby, who built the house in the 1860’s. Buzby owned the mill for which Mill Street is named after.

Demolition has started. This view of the third floor shows the original framing. The white lines are from the plaster. The framing is post and beam style, notched and pegged.

In the older homes we sometimes find brick installed in between the studs. This technique was used to prevent the spread of fire. Look at the craftsmanship involved with fitting the brick between the space.

Please check back frequently as we will update you on our progress.
