You’ve probably closed up your windows for the season, but don’t forget to take the screens out so they won’t get damaged over the winter. Also take a look at your windows to make sure there aren’t any cracks or damaged seals that could get worse. The leaves are starting to fall which means it’s time to start cleaning those gutters and gutter spouts. It’s best to make sure nothing is clogged so they don’t damage your gutters. Make sure all the garden hoses are stored inside and secure all outdoor faucets and spigots so they won’t leak and freeze over. Last but not least, don’t forget to change the filter in your furnace.
